Design No 532
This design combines fast sailing at sea with still reasonable sailing in shallow waters. The stability with keel down is above minimum CE A and with the keel up it is on the edge of CE A
Design No 531
This design is based on the JAGER series. The owner wanted to have similar lines as his Victoire 1122 but a more modern and faster ship. She is designed in composite.
Design 519 custom
Based on a daysailer with wooden sides this version is made from aluminium. There is a ballasted centreboard and in addition there are ballast tanks to keep the empty boat light when it is trailered.

World's Toughest Row - Atlantic
We went to La Gomera, Canary Islands, for the routing of 8 teams and also to see the three D12 rowing boats of my design.
I had the opportunity to row with two of them on a test sail.
The routing went well, second in solo with a D12, first in duo with a D12, first male trio and first female trio in a world record!
From scale model to boat and some explanations to future rowers
Inspection No 233 Santana
At La Gomera we were asked to do a survey for a client from India on design No 233 Santana.
We changed flights to Portugal and checked the boat in Lagos. She was still in good condition, the main concern was the teak deck. Still thick enough but it needed caulking. For somebody handy enough to do it she is an excellent boat!
Jager
This year Jager has sailed over 100.000 miles. To celebrate I will sail the ORC Double Handed World Championship 2024 in Norway with sail friend Jaap. The ORC measurement has to be within 4 years so we had to take all equipment, sails etc out to remeasure.
Swann 48 Sirona
At Modus Marine in Lelystad I supervise te refit of Swann 48 Sirona, owned by a German client.
The two biggest items are the rusted keel frame and moisture in the core of the deck.
The keel frame is out and will be replaced by a slightly thicker stainless steel frame.
Some parts of the top laminate of the deck were cut off, foam, dried or replaced and a new laminate is put over the damaged parts. Now the complete deck will have an extra laminate before a new paint system is put on.
